hey shane, good to see you started up a blog… anyway, you wrote that the foals left you slightly ‘underwhelmed’ at sxsw and it reminded me of a really good song by a canadian group called sloan. they’re from halifax, nova scotia, were originally signed on sub pop around the same time as nirvana (but are completely different, trust me), and the track is titled ‘underwhelmed’. it’s from their album ’smeared’, released in 1992… you should check it out!
