The Breeders have just released their new album, ‘Mountain Battles’. I only got to peek a listen to it at Phantom HQ but it sounds pretty tasty. Here’s a great interview I came across featuring The Deal Sisters at their affable best. They come across really well, down-to-earth and shit-cool. Having watched that Pixies film from a few years ago, ‘LoudQUIETLoud’, Kim came across as the soundest of them all but that might not be difficult when you’re in a band with a bonkers magician drummer and a grumpy egotist singer. They also perform ‘Here No More’ in an acoustic stylee. Below, you’ll find a video for the album track that stood out for me on the first listen, ‘Bang On’. The band play Vicar Street in Dublin on Monday (April 7th).
